Acting on behalf of SEGRO, Glenny has let the 70,000 sq. ft. Unit 2 at Navigation Park, Enfield, North London, on a 10-year lease. The wider development comprises three speculative units, which reached practical completion in June 2016. Unit 1 was let off-plan to Camden Town Brewery, which completed following an extensive fit-out in November 2016. Unit 3 was let in December 2016 to Caesarstone (UK), manufacturers of quartz surfaces. Navigation Park’s sits within Enfield’s prime commercial district, with direct access to the M25 and North Circular Road, making it an excellent strategic location. Ivan Scott, Divisional Partner at Glenny, said: “Enfield is a real opportunity area, and national logistics operators are recognising its potential, particularly to access both regional and central London markets. As the availability of commercial land across London becomes scarcer, Enfield’s strategic location and excellent transport links remain among the best in the capital – a real plus-point for operators." Navigation Park is the first certified ‘carbon neutral’ industrial scheme in London, meaning the building produces more energy than it uses. Glenny acted as a joint agent alongside DTRE and CBRE.
