Glenny LLP has been instructed by the UK’s largest rail freight company, DB Cargo, to sublet land and buildings at its London Eurohub, which is the only rail-linked facility of its type in the country.
Situated in Barking, the site comprises one intermodal land plot, which connects directly to High Speed 1 and the Channel Tunnel mainline tracks, a second plot of land with open storage and a dedicated rail siding, as well as a third plot known as Harry’s Sidings that provides additional secure space for open storage with separate rail access. In addition to the land plots, which are capable of being split, there are also two buildings providing circa 130,000 sq ft of accommodation available on flexible lease terms.
Barking is an established industrial and logistics location that is strategically located to serve the UK and beyond with unfettered access to central London, the A13, and M25 motorway network, as well as the International Rail Freight depot, which is only one of two to serve London.
