Glenny LLP's Regeneration and Infrastructure division has advised Pret-a-Manger in relation to an agreement with Transport for London (TfL) that will see its operation at 135 Cannon Street relocate to larger premises in the Walbrook Building opposite Cannon Street Station. The agreement was reached as a consequence of TfL's proposed redevelopment of Bank Station and its application for a Transport and Works Act Order involving the grant of compulsory purchase powers. Although the Order has not yet been confirmed, the agreement will see Pret-a-Manger paid compensation equivalent to that it would have received if 135 Cannon Street had been subject to compulsory acquisition.
