Premium craft beer and snacks online retailer, Bier Company, has taken up 45,000 sq ft of space at the Midpoint industrial/logistics development in Enfield, London in a deal negotiated by Glenny’s East London Business Space Agency team.
Midpoint comprises two new industrial warehouse units with only one unit now remaining providing up to 22,619 sq ft of accommodation. It is strategically located with connections to the major M25, A10 and A406 arterial routes, and Brimsdown Station, located half a mile from the development, provides a frequent service to London Liverpool Street Station.
The area has already attracted high-profile retail occupiers including Amazon, DHL, John Lewis, Tesco, Hermes Parcelnet, and Ocado.
Glenny and joint agent Knight Frank sold Midpoint last year to Mileway, the largest owner of last mile logistics real estate assets in Europe.
Tom Renshaw, Co-Founder of Bier Company, said: “Our move to Midpoint is a huge step in Bier Company's journey, allowing us to massively increase our production output to aid our global expansion in 2021.”
Peter Higgins, Divisional Partner at Glenny added: “Midpoint is a strategically located development that provides high-quality industrial space for the flourishing urban logistics sector. Demand for this type of accommodation has been high, with occupiers wanting Grade A logistics space in urban locations to serve the London area and beyond. This is one of many deals that reflect a strong recovery from the economic impact of the pandemic and growing confidence in the market.”
