Demand in the South East London & Kent market strengthened in the six months to Sept 2024, rising to 9.0m sq ft, the highest level since 2018.   The main impetus behind the increase has been the upturn in requirements for Big Box units which has risen to 5.5m sq ft. Demand for units below 25,000 sq ft weakened, faling to just under 1m sq ft.
